Service Description

The theme of the Winter Season yoga classes is to slow down, turn inward, and find quietness after the busy and mobile months of fall. In the winter, we need both stillness and movement. Yoga classes this season will be a balanced combination of slow, gentle, grounding yoga sequences balanced with dynamic, warming, and uplifting practices. Think flowing and warming Sun Salutations combined with longer-held hip opening poses or back-strengthening Locust Pose combined with restorative Child's Pose with your head resting on a supportive yoga block. We will slowly flow between action and effort and rest and ease to bring ourselves into symmetry. To create warmth, boost energy, increase circulation, and support digestion we will also explore three breathing practices over the winter months: Kapalabhati (skull-shining breath), Bhastrika (bellows breath), and Surya Bhedana (right nostril breathing). If you're not familiar with these breathing exercises, you will learn about all of them and probably have a favorite before long. As the season becomes cold and quiet, we invite you to join us in the Wed Morning Stretch Winter Season Yoga Series. Allow your yoga practice to comfort your nervous system, your mental health, and your overall well-being. This is a small group practice, with familiar faces each week. Modifications for yoga poses will be given throughout the class to support your body and your experience. If you miss a class, the recording is available for 7 days. You will need a yoga mat, a yoga belt, and two yoga blocks. This package includes 10 Live, group yoga classes on Wed from 9-10 a.m. (EST). Jan 8 -Mar 19. No class on Feb 19. Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a Private Session please contact us 24-hours in advance for a full refund or reschedule. Late cancellation of Private Sessions will result in a fee equal to 50% of your payment More than two late Private Session cancellations will lead to the termination of our services, with no refunds. For Group Classes on Zoom, we have more flexibility. If you can't make a group class, please send us a note and we will send you the class recording.
